This policy covers our apps for Atlassian Cloud (at the moment: Handig Q&A for Confluence) and our support channel.

What our apps store

Our apps run on Atlassian Forge. Everything they store stays inside Atlassian, in your Atlassian site and in Atlassian's Forge hosted storage, within your site's data residency region. For Handig Q&A that is:

• questions and answers, stored as Confluence content in the space they belong to, with Confluence's own author and date;
• votes: the Atlassian account ID of each voter and their vote, so a person can vote once per answer;
• for content imported from another Q&A app: the original author's Atlassian account ID and the original date.

Our apps store no names, e-mail addresses or passwords, and send no data to VIT Projects BV or to anyone else. VIT Projects BV cannot read the data your users store in our apps. Atlassian hosts it under its own privacy policy: atlassian.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Closed accounts

Each week our apps report the account IDs they store to Atlassian's personal data reporting API. When Atlassian reports an account as closed, the app removes that account ID from its data.

Uninstalling

When you uninstall an app, Atlassian removes access to its data and deletes its stored data according to Atlassian's retention rules for Forge hosted storage.

Support requests

If you contact us for support, we use your name, e-mail address and the content of your request only to help you. We keep support requests for two years after the request is closed. VIT Projects BV is the controller of this data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or erasure of personal data we hold about you, and object to or restrict its use. Write to privacy@handig.app. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

Changes

We publish changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
